Jay Park (박재범) was born on April 25, 1987 in United States in the city of Edmonds, Washington. He is an American singer, dancer, rapper, b-boy, music producer, songwriter, model, choreographer, and actor. He’s also a member of the Seattle-based b-boy crew, Art of Movement (AOM) and now CEO of AOMG (Among the Ordinary Music Gently), a Hip Hop independent label.
In 2004, his mother suggested Jay to audition in JYP Entertainment and on January 2005, he traveled to South Korea for his training. He could have been the leader of 2PM, a kpop group under JYP Entertainment, but he had to leave the country because of the problems he was facing in the agency. On September 4, 2009, his MySpace account was hacked and comments he wrote on 2005 towards Korea were found on Park’s account.
No matter what, Jay returned to Korea thanks to his fans, Jwalkerz, who have requested his comeback in 2009 after he decided to leave the country for the controversy.
Jay Park started his solo career in SidusHQ and now he’s the CEO of AOMG, an independent Hip Hop label. He’s a humble man who created this company in October 10, 2013 with the help of his family and friends in order to grow in the music industry. Jay Park has received the support of Jwalkerz from all over the world and the artists in his company. He followed his own style in music and his fanbase has grown worldwide by supporting him with passion and dedication.
In November, AOMG will be doing the “AOMG US Tour” in the following cities in United States: NYC, LA and Washington DC. This is going to be his first tour in the company and fans from other states and countries are going to travel to enjoy the concert.
